Homebirth care
across Sydney,
shaped around you.
I care for women and families across greater Sydney through pregnancy, homebirth and the early weeks after.
Twenty years beside birthing families, first as a doula, now as a midwife.
Taking enquiries now. Your first chat is free, with no obligation.
You already know where you want to birth.
What you're looking for now is the person. Someone who will know you by the time labour starts. Who comes to you, not the other way round. Who gives you the full picture and then trusts you to decide.
That's the kind of care homebirth asks for. It's the kind I offer.
I am Caitlin, and I've been supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood for more than 20 years.
I started as a doula. Watching what good support could do for a woman in labour is what sent me back to study midwifery. Since then I've cared for many families choosing to birth at home, and I've learned what that choice needs: trust, preparation, and the same midwife from beginning to end.
My job is to be with you. To bring skilled midwifery care and clear, evidence-based information. To reassure when you need it. And to leave room for you to birth in your own way.
Midwifery Care I offer
-
Care for labour and birth in your own home, with a midwife you've come to know through your pregnancy.
-
Unhurried appointments, mostly at your home. Time to ask everything, and information to make decisions that fit your family.
-
Visits at home in the days and weeks after birth, for you and your baby, while you find your feet.
-
Practical, patient help with feeding, from the first latch onward.
How it works
Get in touch.
Call, text or email. Tell me a little about you and when your baby is due.
We meet.
It's free. We talk about what you want, what I offer, and whether we're a good fit. No pressure either way.
Care begins.
Regular visits through pregnancy, me at your birth, and support at home in the early weeks.
Medicare and more
As an endorsed midwife I can order tests and scans and prescribe medicines you need related to your care, so more of your care stays with one person.
Medicare rebates apply to your pregnancy and postnatal care. Birth at home isn't covered by Medicare, so we'll go through fees together at our first chat.
You might get in touch if
you're planning a homebirth and want one midwife for the whole journey
you've birthed before and want something different this time
you're early on and still deciding, and want to talk it through with someone experienced
you've had a baby and need help with feeding or recovering at home
You don't need to have it all worked out before you call.
What guides my care
You lead. Your needs, values and choices shape the care, not a template.
Informed decisions. Honest, evidence-based information, and the time to talk it through.
Physiological birth. Trust in the process, and the skill to know when something needs more.
Relationship. Care works best when you know and trust your midwife. Continuity makes that possible.
Let's talk.
